FSI T Series PVC Flow Sensor

Creative Sensor Technology FSI series flow sensors feature proven impeller based technology designed for flow monitoring/flow control applications in irrigation, water conservation and related industries. The term sensor is used because this measurement device produces an output signal rather than a visual display. The PVC tee type sensor with socket connections is offered for service in all class and schedule rated PVC piping systems.

The standard sensor output is a digital pulse proportional to flow. The electrical characteristics of the output signal duplicate other two wire digital signals making the standard sensor compatible with most manufacturer’s  “smart" irrigation controller products. The pulse signal will travel up to 2,000 feet without amplification.

Advantages of CST flow sensors over water meters

• Measures a much wider range of flows

• Operates without pressure loss

• Higher pressure rating - 240 psi

• Easy to install, no special fittings required

• Simple to clean or service

FSI SP3 Series PVC Flow Sensor

Our high performing FSI-T Series flow sensors are now available with a scaled pulse output.

Our most popular flow sensors are now available as SP3 models with a 1 pulse = 1 gallon output signal making them ideal for use with all Hunter Hydrawise controller models.

Now you can measure drip zones as small as 0.8 gpm or giant turf rotors with an output of 160 gpm with our expanding family of SP3 flow sensors, while still enjoying all the proven benefits of CST’s impeller technology.

• Flow measurement range

- 1” T10 0.85 to 52 gpm

- 1 ½” T15 1.8 to 108 gpm

- 2” T20 2.8 to 170 gpm

• 240 psi working pressure rating

• LED indicator on sensor

• Friction loss at full flow averages 0.20 psi

Like all our sensors, the FSI-SP3 models will be backed by our lifetime electronics warranty.
